UWW DECA takes pride in its many on-campus events. Last year UWW DECA put on many on-campus events including the toy drive and high school mini-districts where UWW DECA partnered with BMEA to help high school students get a taste for DECA competition. UWW DECA also has competed and accomplished 1st place in the Homecoming competition 3 years in a row.

DECA has always placed importance in helping the community in many ways. Last year, UWW DECA collected over $200 worth of toys for the annual toy drive, and put in over 500 hours of community service throughout the year. Some of the various volunteer activities are, can donation/pickup and fundraising for nonprofits. UWW DECA has earned the Chapter Civic consciousness award 6 of the last 7 years.

Whitewater's DECA chapter had a record performance last year. At ICDC 2023 in Orlando, our chapter brought 33 students to the conference, where we achieved 74 individual and chapter honors. These honors included 17 students placing in the top 10 in the world in their competitive event categories, highlighted by a chapter record 7 students placing in the top 3.  This was capped off by a UW-Whitewater “sweep” of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the Entrepreneurship Operations case study event.
