Below will be information that should help you succeed at ICDC. For the most current information, please make sure to reference the national DECA website.
INDIVIDUAL TESTING
If you are participating in an Individual Case Study, then you will be required to take an exam. The exam will take place from Tuesday, April 6th starting at 7am until Thursday, April 8th at 11:59pm. The test will consist of 100 questions that you will have 75 minutes to complete. You are allowed to use your resources, however, you may not use other people. It is recommended that you use either Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge to complete the exam.
Follow these steps to log into your test.
1. Log in to DECA Connect
2. Go to the DECA ICDC Community
3. Click on Events
4. Click on Online Testing
5. Log in with the credentials provided to you by Frank.
6. Verify your name and info
7. Take the test
8. Press submit
9. Print the confirmation or save as a PDF

TEST: All individuals who are competing in an individual case study will be required to take an exam. Information regarding the time available, amount of questions, and which exam you will be taking can be found above.
PRELIMINARIES: You can compete in the preliminary competition anytime between April 6th at 7am and April 8th at 11:59pm. You will have 30 minutes to look over the case study and will be given 15 minutes to present. Once you log into DECA Connect and begin by reviewing your case study, you will be directed a new page where a 2 hour timer will start. You will need to complete your video and submit it during that time. Please note that they do not want you to be editing your videos (fancy transitions, background music, etc.)
Follow these steps to compete in your individual case study competition.
1. Log in to DECA Connect
2. Go to DECA ICDC Community
3. Click on Events
4. Click on Preliminary Presentations
5. Log in and verify your info
6. Click on Scenario
7. Click on Start Scenario
8. Review the Case for 30 minutes
9. After 30 minutes, a 2 hour timer will begin
10. Record your 15 minute video on any device you prefer
11. Upload video to YouTube
12. Add the link
13. Finish Uploading Files
14. Print Confirmation or Save as PDF
FINALS: When you make it to finals, you will compete on April 16th by appointment. Frank will be sending you a Zoom link with an appointment time. At your appointment time, you will enter a main room where you will be sent to a breakout room for 30 minutes. During this time, the case will be presented on the screen and this is your time to review. After, you will be moved into a Judge's room where you will present for the designated 15 minute time.

TEST: You will NOT be testing.
WRITTEN ENTRY: Your written entry is also a part of the preliminary competition. You will need to submit your written entry and statement of assurances during April 6th at 7am and April 8th at 11:59pm. You must submit these files as PDFs.

**You must submit your files with the following names.
Written Entry: ADC_WI_LastName_WE
Statement of Assurances: ADC_WI_LastName_SA
ADC = Event Acronym (Advertising Campaign)
WI = Abbreviation of Association (Wisconsin Collegiate DECA)
LastName = All Last names of competitors in Alphabetical Order
SA/WE = Statement of Assurances or Written Entry

10. Upload to YouTube
11. Add the link
12. Finish Uploading Files
13. Print Confirmation or Save as PDF
